Traditional feed formulation starts with nutrients. Active Feeding starts with a biological challenge. Animals do not have the same nutritional priorities at every stage of productioN : around farrowing, after weaning, under a health issue or when feed intake falls, the diet may need to do more than simply meet nutrient requirements.
ACTIVE FEEDING is a modular nutrition system developed by FP Mangimi to add targeted biological functions to feeding programs at the most important times.
Every module is structured around four elements: a defined challenge, a biological function, a nutritional strategy and measurable outcomes and can be integrated into existing feeding plans without disrupting their nutritional base.
Active Feeding is not another ingredient. It is a different way to design feed.

FP MANGIMI Company profile
FP Mangimi is an Italian feed company specialising in swine nutrition, feed formulation and practical solutions for modern pig production.
Based in Northern Italy, FP Mangimi works closely with pig producers, veterinarians and nutritionists to develop scientifically grounded feeding strategies that are practical, field-oriented and adapted to real farm conditions.
At EuroTier 2026, FP Mangimi will present ACTIVE FEEDING, a Modular Animal Nutrition System designed to move feed formulation beyond conventional nutrient supply towards targeted nutritional support.
Each nutrient becomes an active component. Through precise modulation and the combined use of exclusive and naturally derived additives, it is transformed into a targeted nutritional tool to address the specific challenge.
The objective is to support animal resilience, health, performance consistency and more sustainable pig production, while integrating the modules into existing feed formulations and farm management programs.
