As Senior Director of Economic Development and the One Health Innovation District at Elanco, John Stewart drives strategic partnerships between Elanco, and Purdue University. His work focuses on the convergence of animal health and human medical breakthroughs to enhance global healthspan. With an extensive background in government affairs—including leading U.S. state, local, and Canadian portfolios for Elanco—John brings a wealth of legislative and stakeholder expertise to the innovation space. His career includes roles with the American Feed Industry Association and service on Capitol Hill. John earned his MPA from UNC-Chapel Hill and his Bachelor’s in agriculture from North Carolina State University.
