The HUESKER Group strengthens its agricultural business with the acquisition of Oberleitner Windschutz in southern Germany

Since 1 August 2024, Oberleitner Windschutz GmbH & Co. KG, located in Tacherting/OT Emertsham, near Munich, has been part of the HUESKER Group from Gescher, NRW as a wholly owned subsidiary. With this merger, the two specialists for barn climate control and door systems are pooling their expertise and will market the well-known products of the Lubratec and Oberleitner brands under one roof in future. For farmers, this means even more choice of high-quality and innovative product solutions and access to the expert knowledge of the two specialised companies.

Oberleitner Windschutz will remain

Oberleitner Windschutz GmbH & Co. KG will continue to operate as an independent company on the market after its integration into the HUESKER Group, both in terms of sales and production in Tacherting. Customer proximity is a key reason for the merger, which is why all employees and familiar contacts at Oberleitner will remain on board and will continue to drive the business forward with a tailwind from the HUESKER Group.

Barn air conditioning technology of the future

The Oberleitner range is known for its high-quality and durable wind protection systems as well as industrial and agricultural doors. The company shares this quality standard with the new owner.  HUESKER will add active ventilation and lighting systems as well as the Lubratec Smart concept to the range. Lubratec Smart is the world's only smart barn climate system that allows the farmer to centrally or even automatically control the barn climate, which is crucial for animal welfare. All wind protection, ventilation and lighting systems are networked with each other and controlled using integrated outdoor and indoor climate measurement data. The combined expertise of the two companies makes them the market-leading provider for all customer requirements relating to climate control technology for outdoor climate-controlled barns.
