25-Hydroxy Vitamin D3

25-Hydroxy Vitamin D3 (CAS No: 63283-36-3, synonyms: 25-hydroxycholecalciferol, calcifediol, calcidiol, 25OHD3) is the metabolite of vitamin D3 in liver, also known as active vitamin D3. Its bioactivity is 3-5 times that of vitamin D3. It can quickly penetrate the small intestine epithelial cells, no need to form chyle with fat, no need for bile involvement, unaffected by liver function and 25-hydroxylase activity. Feeding 25OHD3 can ensure adequate concentration of 25OHD3 in blood even if the animals suffer complicated circumstances. It can promote calcium and phosphorus absorption and deposition，improve animal cell immunity and breeding stock fertility.
