PlayFeed consists of large pellets designed for small piglets that stimulate their curiosity and increase feed intake in the farrowing pen. PlayFeed is developed to help produce larger and “easier” piglets for weaning. In addition to stimulating the piglets' curiosity and natural desire to chew and manipulate objects, PlayFeed also helps prevent tail biting by addressing their natural needs.
After weaning, piglets should be encouraged to play and manipulate, which enhances their desire to eat and drink in new environments.
