FAQ
Bacillus coagulans is a gram-positive, spore-forming bacterium with probiotic properties.
B. coagulans has been recognized as safe by regulatory bodies like the US FDA and the
European Union for human consumption.
It is commonly used in veterinary applications and as a probiotic in livestock production,
showing effectiveness in improving abdominal pain, bloating, and immune response in
animals.
In humans, it has shown promise in alleviating symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS),
constipation, and diarrhea.
Studies suggest that B. coagulans may have benefits in treating conditions like Clostridium
difficile-associated diarrhea.
