Brief Introduction:
PhytoPro's FSE is an extract derived from Fenugreek seeds, one of the oldest cultivated medicinal plants, with the Latin name foenum-graecum, meaning "Greek hay," historically used as fodder. Studies in both humans and animals have demonstrated that Fenugreek seed extracts possess various beneficial properties, including appetite stimulation, cholesterol reduction, immune enhancement, and antimicrobial effects, which have garnered attention for their potential to improve animal production efficiency.
The appetite-stimulating and digestive restorative properties of Fenugreek are largely attributed to its significant saponin content. These saponins can alter feeding behavior by influencing the circadian rhythm, thereby stimulating appetite. Additionally, they enhance the permeability of intestinal mucosal cells in vitro, inhibit active mucosal transport, and facilitate the absorption of substances that are typically not absorbed. Research also indicates that the presence of noxious gases in feces is related to nutrient digestibility; improved digestibility reduces the substrate available for microbial fermentation in the large intestine, subsequently decreasing the production of harmful gases in feces.
Key Features:
1. Enhance feed efficiency and overall growth performance.
2. Balance intestinal flora, boost immunity, and reduce ammonia emissions.
3. Shorten sow farrowing duration, lower stillbirth rates, and increase milk production.
