As global temperatures rise,heat stress poses significant risks to animal health and productivity, potentially leading to annual milk yield  loss up to €600 per cow. To manage this challenge, we implement real-time heat stress detection using the intravaginal Tsens sensor, coupled with the cooling and wetting system from Arienti.

This proactive approach helps maintain optimal conditions for the animals, such as:

• Improving barn air quality which will lead to a reduction in respiratory diseases and help mitigate epidemics.
• Improvement in uterine health contributes to achieving a 12-month fertility rate.
• Reduction of stress, which leads to improvements in milk yield and quality.
• Dry and cool resting areas will lower the stress level and  the ruminating time is extended, ensuring that feed intake does not decrease.
• Dry lying areas will help prevent hoof diseases.

Our customers have noted an 8% increase in milk yield in the summer/winter ratio, even with temperatures 15% higher than last year.
