FAQ
The 1st generation of antimicrobials came from plants. The 2nd generation of antimicrobials is generated from insects and reptiles which lack an adaptive immune system. Black soldier fly (BSF) is outstanding in this microbial resistant crowd, with long-term evidence in reducing heavy microbial loads in organic wastes by a factor of X1,000,000. NeoManna is utilizing BSF to drive similar impacts in animal health.
NeoManna already developed and contract-manufactures NeoMAG™: a novel anti-microbial portfolio utilizing monoglycerides-enriched BSF oil. NeoMAG™ inclusion rates are just 2% - 5% compared with the inclusion rates of raw unprocessed BSF oil.
This portfolio includes a growth-promoting NeoMAG™ version for pelleted feed and an acute NeoMAG™ version—as an acute antibiotics alternative—for liquid delivery via drinking water and milk replacers. Our focus with NeoMAG™ is on the early production phases: creep feed, pre-starter, and starter.
Controlled studies and field experiments with NeoMAG™ vs. positive “golden standard” controls incorporating phytochemicals in piglets and broilers demonstrate beyond-expected efficacy, safety, and ROI.
