FerroBio is an iron compound for biogas, consisting of functional iron oxides and hydroxides, which reacts with hydrogen sulfide (H2S) to produce iron sulfide and pure sulfur, both products considered as additives for the improvement of fertilizer properties.
Iron hydroxide emerges as a key component in efficient process optimization for biogas production. The presence of naturally occurring iron hydroxides in FerroBio plays a key role for biogas. FerroBio is an optimal choice in terms of efficiency and value for money for all types of biogas plants, considering not only the technology used (dry or wet), but also the type of waste material used.
