The Ringoplast PitoBox offers a safe and sustainable solution for transporting day-old chicks. Especially during the first 24 to 72 hours after hatching, continuous access to food and water is crucial. Our chick transport PitoBox is designed to ensure best possible conditions and to minimize stress on the animals during transportation.

Flexible and Versatile

The chick transport crate PitoBox is in line with existing (automated) systems and can easily be stacked. On request, we have special versions designed for turkey poults and ducklings available. These transport boxes are 2cm higher and feature optimized tray positions.

Animal Welfare and Sustainability in Focus
Made from durable plastic, the box has a working life of up to 30 years. It is robust, hygienic, easy to clean and  reduces the carbon footprint dramatically by continued use .
Thanks to the 6 integrated feeders on the long sides which are designed to be filled with a nutritious gel, the day-old chicks are optimally nourished before and during transport. As a result, not only the mortality rate during transportation and in the first days oft their lives dropped substantially but also the application of medication such as e. g. antibiotics tends to zero.
