Tributyrin is hydrolyzed in the small intestine by lipase activity, releasing butyrate where it is most effective in supporting gut health. It enhances proliferation, differentiation and maturation of Intestinal epithelial cells.
Tributyrin is lipid, so it’s heat stable and smell friendly to workers.
