FAQ
The self-propelled eTruck is the solution for farms with existing loading technology. The drive and mixing unit is 100% electric, which enables clean, emission-free and quiet feeding. The battery can be charged cost-effectively using the farm's own electricity from renewable energy sources..
The SILOKING eTruck 2012 offers outstanding performance. The largest version with a capacity of 20 m³ leads the range and embodies the motto simple | intelligent | feeding. This concept combines pioneering technology and first-class feed processing.
The battery capacity of the innovative lithium-iron-phosphate cells is sufficient for several mixes, and the batteries have a life of 3000 to 5000 full charge cycles. The short charging time, long battery life and long lifetime make these virtually maintenance-free batteries perfect for use. Energy from renewable sources such as wind, solar and biogas can be used when available. Thanks to the standard Type 2 plug, the machine can also be charged with any standard wallbox available on the market.
The new series not only impresses with maximum performance and larger volumes, but also with a high degree of reliability and outstanding ease of use and operation. With the exception of the smallest model, the eTruck 2012-12 with a capacity of 12 m³ and one mixing auger, all models are equipped with two mixing augers, resulting in a maximum total output of 80 kW. This guarantees a homogeneous mix and easy processing of round bales.
The eTruck 2012 is equipped with the proven SILOKING self-propelled cab, which promises comfort, ergonomics, and safety - a "top-class workplace". All hydraulic and other important functions are controlled via the control panel. The driving speed is 0 to 15 km/h. The new TruckLine is aimed at larger operations with existing loading technology that appreciate the advantages of the electric drive, such as low-noise operation and the possibility of using their own electricity.
