At DOMCA, we specialise in the biochemistry of organosulfur compounds (OSCs) derived from plants of the Allium genus, particularly garlic and onion.

These compounds are responsible for much of the characteristic aromatic profile of Allium plants. Our R&D work focuses on their characterisation, standardisation and stability, combining scientific knowledge with formulation expertise to develop practical solutions for animal feed.

GARLICON is our range of flavouring premixes and complementary feeds based on Allium-derived ingredients.

Its organosulfur compounds provide a distinctive aromatic profile that can be used to enhance the sensory characteristics and palatability of feed.

Palatability and feed acceptance are important considerations in animal nutrition, particularly during diet changes, transitions between production stages or periods in which maintaining consistent feed acceptance is especially relevant.

For this reason, GARLICON formulations are adapted to different species, production systems and feed manufacturing processes.
