Hive CPQ introduces Hive MCP, connecting the AI tools your team already uses directly to your Hive environment. 

Getting information out of a CPQ platform, or making changes inside one, has traditionally meant logging in, navigating menus, or writing custom API code. Every question meant a search through documentation, and every configurator change meant clicking through screens by hand. Hive MCP changes that.

Your team stays in the AI tools they already use, like Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or Cursor, and asks Hive CPQ questions or gives instructions in plain language. The assistant searches, configures, and builds directly inside your live Hive environment, and every action runs under the user's own account and existing permissions.

• Configure by conversation. Ask your assistant to configure a product from a plain brief, and it finds the right configurator, sets the values, and reaches a valid, priced result without clicking through every option.
• Answers from your own documentation. Questions get answered from your actual product documentation instead of a guess, so reps get it right the first time.
• Build without writing code. Configurator builders can create components, add setup nodes, and apply logic through the same natural-language interface, with a snapshot taken before any big change so nothing is lost.
• Bulk work in one instruction. Repetitive tasks like branding, icons, or translations across many components start from a single request instead of hundreds of clicks.
• Secure by design. Every action respects the roles and permissions already in place, and admins decide whether MCP is switched on, separately for each environment.

With the MCP, all the Hive documentation is inside my AI tool. So I can just ask Copilot anything about Hive CPQ and I don’t have to search through the documentation. This is an incredible timesaver.
