Unlike traditional open ridge ventilation, PRP Chimneys achieve higher air velocity with a smaller ridge opening, resulting in more uniform airflow throughout the barn. The oversized molded roof cap helps reduce rain and snow entry while maintaining effective natural ventilation, providing reliable performance in a wide range of weather conditions.
Available in 24", 30", and 36" sizes, PRP Chimneys feature a durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) exterior with a fully insulated polyurethane foam core for long-lasting performance. The system can be peak or slope mounted, extended for attic applications, and supplied with or without an adjustable damper to suit a variety of building designs.
To meet the evolving needs of modern livestock facilities, PRP Chimneys can be equipped with several optional accessories, including a 24" variable-speed exhaust fan module for increased ventilation capacity, an innovative butterfly damper module that prevents non-operating chimneys from acting as cold air intakes, and a skylight package that combines the natural lighting benefits of an open ridge with the ventilation performance of an insulated chimney.
