For decades, animal nutrition has mainly focused on meeting the nutritional requirements for maintenance, growth, gestation and lactation.
At FP Mangimi, we believe the next step is to go beyond nutrition.
This is the idea behind ACTIVE FEEDING: a new approach in which feed is not only formulated to provide nutrients, but also to deliver specific nutritional functions at the moments when the animal is most vulnerable.

These are critical transitions where physiology changes rapidly and where metabolic, intestinal and microbial challenges can affect animal wellbeing, performance and production efficiency.
ACTIVE FEEDING starts with the biological challenge, not with the ingredient.
Instead of asking “Which additive should we use?”, we start with a different question:
“What is happening to the animal at this specific moment — and what can nutrition do to support it?”
From this principle comes a modular functional nutrition system designed to support pigs through some of the most demanding phases of the production cycle.

We want feed to become an active part of the production strategy.
Not a medicine.
Not a replacement for veterinary management.
But nutrition designed to support physiological functions and help animals better face the critical challenges of modern pig production.
