MTech Systems by Speria
Simon Cohen is Executive Vice President of Business Development at MTech Systems, part of Speria, and one of the leaders behind the company's growth from a regional US software provider into a global agribusiness technology business. Originally from Caracas, Venezuela, he holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from Georgia Southern University and previously designed poultry processing plants for Systemate in the Netherlands. Simon works closely with poultry producers around the world to apply connected data, IoT and AI to production and supply-chain decisions. His focus is helping the industry move from manual, reactive processes toward more predictive and real-time operations that improve planning, performance and sustainability.

Poultry businesses collect vast amounts of data, yet farms, feed mills and processing plants often still plan in isolation. Simon Cohen will show how real-time feed and scale data can power AI-driven forecasts from day one, replacing manual estimates with a clearer view of what is happening on the farm. Drawing on work with producers worldwide, he will explain how better forecasts can help teams spot risk earlier, plan feed and processing more precisely, and improve flock performance. He will also address the foundations AI needs to deliver practical value: reliable data, connected systems and workflows that help people act.
