Unibio is a biotechnology company specialising in gas fermentation. Our flagship product is Uniprotein®, a high-quality, non-GMO single-cell protein for animal feed, produced by gas fermentation using methane as the carbon source. With 68.5% crude protein, a favourable amino acid profile, high digestibility and consistent batch-to-batch quality, Uniprotein® is a proven alternative to fishmeal and soy protein concentrate in diets for weaned piglets, poultry, fish and shrimp, as well as in premium petfood.

Uniprotein® is a scalable, nutrient-rich and planet-friendly protein source. Producing it uses very little water, requires no arable land, and eases pressure on wild fish stocks, protecting both terrestrial and marine ecosystems. We are committed to changing how protein is made, through innovation and responsible production that serves future generations.

Uniprotein® is made using our proprietary U-Loop® bioreactor, a technology built for efficient, large-scale gas fermentation. Production is modular and can be sited wherever methane is available.
