Three Critical Moments. Three ACTIVE FEEDING Modules.
FP Mangimi introduces three targeted nutritional modules for farrowing, weaning and post-weaning resilience, built around the ACTIVE FEEDING concept.
Modern pig production does not present the same nutritional challenge at every stage. Around farrowing, immediately after weaning and during the following nursery period, the physiological priorities of the animal change rapidly.
This is the principle behind ACTIVE FEEDING: start with the biological challenge, identify the nutritional functions that matter most at that specific moment, and build a targeted nutritional response.
FP Mangimi is introducing three complementary feed modules developed around three particularly critical phases of pig production:
FARROWING – Vital Start
A phase-specific nutritional programme for the transition from late gestation through farrowing and into lactation. It focuses on calcium availability, electrolyte balance, farrowing efficiency, sow recovery, feed intake and milk production.
WEANING – Soft Landing
A coordinated nutritional programme for the prestarter and early-starter phases, designed to promote intestinal stability, continuity of feed intake and barrier function during the first critical weeks after weaning.
NURSERY – Hard Target
A multimodal nutritional programme for creep, prestarter and early-starter feeding, designed to reinforce gastric barrier function and mucosal resilience and to help piglets maintain growth and uniformity under bacterial pressure.
Although each module addresses a different physiological phase, all three follow the same ACTIVE FEEDING principle:
The right nutritional function, at the right physiological moment.
The modules are designed to complement a correctly formulated basal diet with targeted nutritional functions when they are most relevant, moving feed formulation beyond the simple fulfilment of nutrient requirements.
From formulation to function.
