CALCITOP Calcium Bolus

CALCITOP by LANDMANS BEST is a dietary mineral supplement in bolus form for cows, designed to reduce the risk of milk fever and subclinical hypocalcemia around calving.

How CALCITOP works

CALCITOP Bolus, a high-dose, fast-acting product, supplies cows with calcium and phosphorus prior to calving and prevents milk fever as well as atypical downer cow syndrome. Before calving, cows have a limited amount of calcium and phosphate available in their blood, as mobilization from the bones does not begin as quickly as colostrum production consumes it.

Two sources of calcium with different rates of action immediately and sustainably raise blood calcium levels, while high-dose vitamin D3 accelerates calcium mobilization from the bones and stabilizes calcium metabolism.

Feeding instructions:

2 boluses 12–24 hours before calving

2 boluses immediately after calving
