Hilucia™ Oil for Feed, derived from Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens) larvae, is a functional lipid ingredient developed for use in monogastric, calf and aquaculture feed formulations.

Naturally rich in lauric acid (>40%) and medium-chain fatty acids, Hilucia™ Oil provides a highly digestible source of energy while bringing additional functional value to animal nutrition. Lauric acid has demonstrated antimicrobial activity against selected pathogenic bacteria in vitro, while medium-chain fatty acids can contribute to supporting gut health and a balanced intestinal microbiota.

Across multiple species, including poultry, shrimp and calves, Hilucia™ Oil offers opportunities to support growth performance, animal health and resilience.
