FAQ

FAMI-QS has developed a guideline for managing compliance systems and a supporting document that provides regulatory requirements for the placement of special feed ingredients in certain relevant markets. Scope: Covering the production/trade of special feed ingredients generated from the production process: chemical; biology Mining; Extraction; Mixing; Preparation. Process documentation: To support operators in implementing their HACCP system, there is a dedicated HACCP plan for processes within this scope.
FAMI-QS certification is a quality and safety control system applicable to the production of feed additives and pre mixed feed additives throughout Pan Europe; It has established a unified evaluation system and requirements for the quality and safety control of feed additives production in the European Union and those entering the EU; For management authorities and users, it has achieved unified certification across EU countries, avoiding multiple inspections.
The certification standards of FAMI-QS are directly derived from EU regulations 183 and 1831 on the hygiene and safety of feed additives and premixes, which have a comprehensive effect on similar qualification assessments in EU member states before. Therefore, it has become the preferred choice for supplier qualification assessment in Europe and outside of Europe; It is necessary to break down trade technology barriers, meet EU regulatory requirements, and ensure the smooth export of feed additive products to the EU.
GMP+was established by the Dutch Feed Industry Association (PDV) to address various incidents involving contamination of feed ingredients.
GMP+FSA (Feed Safety Assurance) is a complete module aimed at ensuring feed safety at all stages of the feed chain, ensuring responsible production, processing, trade, storage, and transportation of animal products to consumers. The GMP+standard specifies the relevant requirements for ensuring feed safety, which are based on additional requirements from legislation and market stakeholders.
Since August 2003, GMP+certification has been officially launched in the Netherlands. At the same time, the Netherlands also requires manufacturers and traders who sell feed production materials to the Netherlands to obtain GMP certification within a specified period of time. GMP+certificates have been recognized by many countries, including the European Union.
