RACK & PINION

U-profile Rack with double toothed edges in steel DX51D+Z275, available in three different thickness: 2.0mm (CDAD Series) / 2.5mm (CD Series) / 3.0 mm (CDH Series), and cold-profiling manufactured.
   The rounded tooth limits the wearing out and reduces the friction between rack and pinion. The pinion cage, made in galvanized sheet, has 3 locking points that guarantee a firm fastening; its 2 rollers make for smoother sliding of the bar. The pinion, in self-lubricating synthesized material, is fastened to the driving tube by 2 set of screws 8x12mm.

The high-precision manufacturing of the bar profile, makes this rack and excellent product for those who want a high value for money.

We have different lengths depending on the thickness: up to 1600 mm in 2 mm thickness, up to 3000 mm in 2.5 mm thickness, and up to 5000 mm in 3 mm thickness.

All models are available in straight or curved versions, and the curved version can be manufactured with the teeth facing inwards or outwards.

Accessories for the racks:

• C170 ball bearing support for drive tube: Two cages in plastic self-lubricating material and stainless steel balls make this support the ball bearing real-deal. Compared to other supports on the market, our C170 has a better hold to the drive pipe. This allows you to spread the weight optimally, with minimum wear. Maintenance is minimal. The C170 can be supplied with a wall support plate, with custom length on request.
• C180 ball bearing support for drive tube heavy dut: Support made with shielded steel ball bearings for heavy applications.
• AC60: Galvanized “U” metal sheet profile, which allows fixing the rack to the mobile profile of the vent/panel. The simplicity of the profile makes it adaptable to any type of farm/shelter structure.
• AV80: Piece made 100% of aluminium, for the connection between the rack and the mobile vent/panel.
• SHOCK ABSORBER: It allows the perfect closing of the vent/panel by counteracting the misalignment of the vent itself, caused by the driving tube’s torquing or by possible delays resulting from the “play” between the tube junctions. In its closing phase, the compression spring allows an extension of 22mm when a load force of about 250Nm is applied. The shock absorber can be used on all types of toothed racks.
