Eckart Presents the Economical CERVUSbase Tanker Line
"Cervus" – the deer – is the name of the new generation of steel tanks that the traditional company Eckart, part of the Bauer Group, is launching.
The specialist in polyester tankers is expanding its expertise with the new CERVUSline and this year presents the economical steel tanker line CERVUSbase. The CERVUSbase series is specifically designed for medium-sized farms with basic equipment needs.
The "Animal" Product Lines Are Expanding
In addition to the established polyester tanker series LUPUSline+and the steel tanker product lines CERVUSline, CERVUSLINEMIDand CERVUSLINEPRO, which are very popular among contractors and large farms, the CERVUSbase series now complements the range.
NEW: CERVUSbase
Based on the professional technology of the CERVUSline, the technology has been adapted to the requirements of medium to small farms. Unnecessary features and preparations have been eliminated to make the slurry tanker technically lighter and more cost-effective. Naturally, all CERVUSbase slurry tankers are pre-equipped or available for near-ground distribution technology such as trailing hose or trailing shoe distributors.
NEW: SIGNOsmart
Product Manager Thomas Perlik explains that the current economic situation, combined with a limited subsidy policy for near-ground spreading technology in many regions, is prompting customers to acquire practical and essential technology. A significant cost factor is the control technology for tanks with near-ground distribution technology. The sophisticated ISOBUS systems of the Bauer Group, such as SIGNO4.0, are versatile but often overqualified for simple tanks. Therefore, the SIGNOsmart, the "little brother," was developed. The SIGNOsmart is an intuitive and future-oriented control system that is also attractively priced. It offers the proven basic functions of a CANBUS-based control system while dispensing with unnecessary components.
Innovative Remote Maintenance with SIGNOsmart
A standout feature of the SIGNOsmart is the ability to access the control system on the farm or field directly from the Eckart specialists at the factory via a telemetry module. This allows for quick customer support without time-consuming travel. The SIGNOsmart is operated via a 4.3" touch terminal of the latest generation, which also offers haptic "mechanical" buttons. "We often still have customers who prefer haptic controls over touch," explains Thomas Perlik.
Features of the CERVUSbase
A look at the features of the CERVUSbase shows that this line comes standard with large 30.5" tires and a proven 4-spring axle assembly. Trailing hose and trailing shoe distributors are available in fixed installations, which are ideal for both grassland and arable farming. Despite the streamlined equipment variants, essential options such as the SLE system (Support Load Retention System) are available or retrofittable. If desired, from a tank size of 14m³, the standard eccentric screw pump Ex200/120 (4000 l/min) can be replaced with an Ex350/150 (6000 l/min). The CERVUSbase tankers are available in sizes C100, C125, C140, C155, and C180, with the designation representing the tanker capacity in 100 liters.
