ApoEplus®10S contains ethyl ester of β-apo-8’-carotenoic acid in a starch coated matrix of calcium lignosulphonate. The spray-dried coating technology and the antioxidant protect the molecule from the very sensitive oxidative decomposition when exposed to air, heat and humidity. The protective matrix provides full protection against physical constrains (high-speed mixer, pelleting or extruding).
