About
Indoor measures to reduce emissions offer many advantages: legal requirements are met by addressing the problem at its source. Environmental impact is reduced, and animal welfare is improved. Livestock producers do not need to make structural changes, and the carbon footprint is lower than that of end-of-pipe solutions. The DLG-certified bedding solution ImproBed is one such indoor measure. It combines the aforementioned benefits and has the potential to make livestock farming more sustainable. This presentation will describe ImproBed, outline its emission reduction capabilities and certification, and highlight the specific advantages resulting from its use.
