Lesion Detect – Objective Lung Lesion Assessment

Lesion Detect is an emerging technology being developed to support automated and objective assessment of lung lesions in pigs at slaughter.

Using imaging and automated analysis, the system is designed to assess visible lung lesions consistently and provide objective results at batch level.

The aim is to reduce subjectivity in manual scoring and provide producers, veterinarians and processors with more consistent information on respiratory health.

Integrated data can support comparison between batches, identification of trends and better-informed herd health management.
