The Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD combines cutting-edge research in image processing, computer graphics, data science and machine learning to develop application-specific solutions. In collaboration with partners from the key sectors of the bioeconomy, health and care, infrastructure and public services, manufacturing and mobility, and the maritime industry, it develops practical, transferable innovations. With around 260 staff at its Darmstadt and Rostock sites, Fraunhofer IGD develops technologies that bring about lasting change to the economy and society.
