SILOKING DryScan® enables a paradigm shift in dairy cattle feeding. While fresh matter was previously the standard when creating a TMR, the new system integrated into the SILOKING system world enables the feed mixer loading - and thus also feeding according to dry matter in real time. This approach enables, for example, the full usage of all existing SILOKING digital and assistance systems, such as weighing and software applications. "This consistent integration into the existing systems simplifies the operation during loading - and thus ensures great efficiency and success throughout the entire feeding process. Previous calculation by fresh mass: Not accurate and not efficient enough
Up to now, the feeding of ruminants has mainly been based on the calculation of the ration according to fresh matter, but the loading of the feed mixer wagon has proven to be inaccurate and inefficient. On the one hand, the dry matter in the silage stock varies greatly, and on the other hand, changing weather conditions influence the dry matter content of the feed components at the silage wall edge. In addition, previous approaches to determining the dry matter involved considerable time and cost investment and were often isolated solutions that were difficult to combine with machine operation and software applications.
