FAQ

Methionine is an essential amino acid and an important methyl donor, involved in important physiological activities such as fat metabolism and gene expression. The first limiting amino acid in a typical diet for dairy cattle is methionine. Supplementing with additional rumen protected methionine in the diet could balance the metabolizable amino acids in the small intestines, improve the protein utilization efficiency of the diet, promote fat metabolism and prevent metabolic diseases that related to fat metabolism.
Lysine is an essential amino acid which cannot be synthesized by dairy cattle and could only be obtained from the feed. The imbalance amino acids in the diet could cause the low protein utilization then cause protein waste. Lysine is the second limiting amino acid in the current typical diets of dairy cattle. Increasing the metabolizable lysine for small intestine could improve the protein utilization efficiency, reduce feed cost, and improve production performance of dairy cattle.
