Dr. Padmini Persaud is a Research Lead at Speria, where she spearheads the development of advanced analytics and automated sustainability tools for the global live-protein industry. Driven by a mission to minimize agricultural emissions while maximizing production efficiencies, she is the lead architect behind Speria’s cutting-edge carbon tracking module. Padmini specializes in sustainable development, environmental resilience, and automated life cycle assessment (LCA) integrations. Prior to entering AgTech, her research and professional practice spanned civil and environmental engineering, including data-driven green infrastructure, water treatment, and real-time sensor analytics. She holds a bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Florida and a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Tennessee, where she co-authored multiple peer-reviewed studies on predictive environmental modeling.
