ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL: The first of its kind

With the development of the high-performance hydraulic fluid ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL, ADDINOL has achieved a previously impossible balancing act. The medium-sized company from Leuna is launching a hydraulic fluid on the market that has been approved in accordance with the Bosch Rexroth Fluid Rating List RD 90245 as well as the European Ecolabel.

Hydraulic systems deliver top performance; high pressures and temperatures are the order of the day. Their reliable operation requires high-performance lubricants that can withstand the high loads. In areas of application where lubricants can get into the ground or waterways in the event of a leak, spillage or even an accident, their environmental compatibility must also be ensured. This is the only way to prevent damage to flora, fauna and humans.

ADDINOL NatureProod HLP EL sets new standards

When developing the new hydraulic fluid ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL, the R&D team focussed on the high performance requirements of the components and the strict standards in environmentally sensitive areas. With the new development, there is now a product that combines maximum performance and environmental compatibility.

ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL achieves a stable lubricating film over long intervals during use, reliably protects the components against corrosion and wear and is characterised by maximum technical stability even under the influence of water. Based on excellent performance parameters, ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL has passed Bosch Rexroth's stringent testing in practical engine and pump tests and is approved according to the Bosch Rexroth Fluid Rating List RDE 90245.

ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL is based on high-quality saturated esters in combination with a powerful, zinc-free additive technology and is rapidly biodegradable (OECD 301 B > 60 % in 28 days). In addition, low ecotoxicity has been demonstrated and the product has been classified as non-bioaccumulative. On this basis, ADDINOL NatureProof HLP 32 and 46 EL have been awarded the Ecolabel, which is recognised throughout Europe. Furthermore, the hydraulic fluid fulfils the Swedish Standard SS 15 54 34 and is included in the RISE list accordingly.

Comprehensive range

ADDINOL NatureProof HLP EL is part of an entire product range for ecologically sensitive applications in forestry and agriculture as well as the construction industry, water and municipal services. In addition to hydraulic fluids, the product range also includes gear and turbine oils, insulating and cooling fluids as well as oils for agricultural machinery and equipment. Biodegradable lubricating greases for roller and plain bearings as well as special applications are also available.
